Six tableaux de porcelaine peint d’émaux cristallisés & métal oxydé.
Quand l’infiniment petit rejoint l’infiniment grand, et les réactions chimiques d’émail imite les paysages naturels.
Paysages de cristaux inspirés des eaux stagnantes des rivières, des Nympheas, de l’esprit d’Ophelia. Il faut énormément de précisions, de soins et de recherches pour développer des cristaux dans un émail. L’univers minéral des cristallisations est constitués d’oxydes qui réagissent chimiquement lors de la cuisson des émaux, le contrôle de la descente en température du four en fusion permet grâce à une combinaison chimique complexe et à l’alchimie du feu, d’obtenir la magie d’une construction cristalline.
Ce phénomène est identique à celui de la cristallisation provoqué par les volcans dans la chambre volcanique qui donne les cristaux divers que l’on retrouve dans la nature.
Plates of crystallized enamel porcelain. When the infinitely small joins the infinitely large, and the chemical reactions of enamel mimic natural landscapes. Landscapes of crystals inspired by the stagnant waters of rivers, water lilies, the spirit of Ophelia.
It takes a lot of precision, care and research to develop crystals in an enamel. The mineral universe of the crystallizations is made up of oxides which react chemically during the firing of the glaze, the control of the descent in temperature of the molten furnace makes it possible, thanks to a complex chemical combination and the alchemy of fire, to obtain the magic of a crystalline construction.
This phenomenon is identical to those of crystallization caused by volcanoes in the volcanic chamber and which gives the various crystals found in nature.

Le monde de émaux cristallisés est donc une recherche longue et fastidieuse, récompensée par l’émerveillement de la découverte de la beauté des détails obtenus à l’ouverture du four… C’est une expérimentation extraordinaire que de sentir que l’on marche sur les chemins des phénomènes naturels de la formation des cristaux de la terre, et ces tableaux de porcelaines rendent hommages à ces phénomènes naturels. Au-delà d’une simple représentation de la nature (comme on pourrait avoir dans la peinture), il s’agit bien ici, grâce à la complexité chimique de la céramique, d’une corrélation avec la manière dont la nature elle-même, produit artistiquement ses paysages.
Les teintes de bleus soutenues sont amenées par une coloration au Cobalt, les turquoises et les verts par le Cuivre, et les blanc de Titane. Des pointes de roses sont dues au Chrome.
The world of crystallized enamels is therefore a long and tedious search, rewarded by the wonder of discovering the beauty of the details obtained when opening the kiln... It is an extraordinary experience to feel that you are walking on the paths of the natural phenomena of the formation of the earth's crystals, and these porcelain paintings pay homage to these natural phenomena. Beyond a simple representation of nature (as one could have in painting), it is a question here, thanks to the chemical complexity of ceramics, of a correlation with the way in which nature itself , artistically produces its landscapes.
The strong shades of blue are brought by a coloring with Cobalt, the turquoises and the greens by Copper, and the whites of Titanium. Pink tips are due to Chromium.
